This place is amazing and very hazardous to your waistline. Stayed in Long Beach for a week and found myself here most every day. The pastry selection is huge and the bread divine. I bought the Portuguese Herb bread and everyone just loved it. Fresh pastries put out every day. The Pecan Honey pastry is just addictive. They also have soups and sandwiches made to order.

I was down in Long Beach for a couple of weeks in the winter and was fortunate to find this bakery during my stay. The best part of my stay was going to the bakery for breakfast and a pastry each morning. The breakfast sandwiches, pastries and coffee were great. Good people behind the counters for the most part too. If you are ever in Long Beach, this place is a must visit.

So Cottage Bakery easily has to be the best bakery in THE WORLD. I drive 2 hours to Long Beach just to get items from the bakery... Yes it's that good. If your looking for a sweet treat, or great sandwich on the peninsula stop here. You will be hooked.

Came here for the first time this weekend and it was great ! Super sweet and helpful staff. Delicious pastries and cookies. Coffee was average but hot and decent. Didn't have any hot food or anything from the deli but would definitely come back!
